I’m really excited that you are booking a family photo session with me. I really do love capturing families doing their natural thing, it is so very important to have those memories captured. All you need to do now is read through the T’s + C’s, fill out the form below and pay the booking fee (50% of total session fee) or insert your voucher code. Once I have received both your booking is complete! I will confirm the receipt and the date & time we have arranged in an email to you along with the invoice for the booking fee. *Terms & Conditions

The (regrettably rather formal) purpose of the below T’s & C’s is to set out the professional basis on which we will act and to clarify our respective responsibilities. Yours, to enjoy yourself and just be you, easy peasy. Mine? To document it in the most wonderful way.

Please take a moment to read through the below before confirming your booking.

1. Session
Your session includes:

  • 1.5–2 hours of photography (depending on the session booked)

  • A relaxed, natural approach with gentle guidance where needed

  • All images edited to a high and consistent standard

  • 50+ high resolution images delivered via a private online gallery

  • Full personal printing rights and web-sized images for sharing

For families of 6 or more people, a double session fee may apply.

2. Booking & Availability

All bookings are subject to the photographer’s availability. Clients are advised to book in advance to secure their preferred date, particularly during peak periods. A £125 booking fee is required to secure your session date and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due after the shoot and before delivery of images. If a valid gift voucher is being used, it may be applied towards the session fee, subject to voucher terms, availability and expiry.

3. Location
Sessions take place in and around the West Midlands unless otherwise agreed in advance. Travel outside of this area may incur an additional fee. For babies under 1, an at-home session is recommended.

4. Rescheduling & Cancellation
If you need to rearrange your session, please let me know as soon as possible. Sessions may be rescheduled to a mutually agreed date, subject to availability.
In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend due to circumstances beyond my control, your session will be rescheduled or refunded.

5. Weather
Sessions are weather dependent. In the case of light rain or changeable conditions, we may adapt plans (including switching to an at-home session) and continue where
possible. In the case of extreme weather (including but not limited to heavy rain, storms or unsafe conditions), the session will be postponed and rescheduled to a mutually agreed date.

6. Image Delivery
Your images will be delivered within 4 weeks of your session unless otherwise agreed. All images are carefully selected and edited. Any test shots, duplicates or images that do not meet my standards will not be included. RAW/unedited files are not provided.

7. Image Usage & Copyright
All images remain the copyright of Kate Jackson Photography. Clients are granted permission to download, print and share images for personal use only. Images may not be sold, used commercially, supplied to businesses or altered in any way without prior written permission. You are very welcome to share your images with friends, family and on social media — I just ask that they are not edited or filtered after delivery so they remain true to my work. Kate Jackson Photography may request permission to use selected images for portfolio and marketing purposes. Clients can choose their preference on the booking form.

8. Artistic Licence
I photograph sessions in a natural, documentary style. While I will always do my best to capture requested combinations, the final images delivered are selected at my discretion and reflect my style and creative judgement.

9. File Storage
Your images will be backed up for a minimum of 1 year. While every effort is made to ensure their safety, I always recommend downloading and backing up your images once delivered.

10. Complaints
I am committed to providing a high standard of service. If you have any concerns or feel something hasn’t gone as expected, please do get in touch so I can try to resolve things for you. Any complaints should be raised in writing within 14 days of the issue occurring. I will acknowledge and respond within 14 days of receiving your message. In the unlikely event that a resolution cannot be reached, both parties may agree to seek independent mediation.

11. Privacy: The client agrees to the Photographer storing personal data pertaining to the the client under the condition that the data is collected, processed and stored in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Photographer agrees that all personal data relating to the client will be deleted after 6 years following the session date. Would you please confirm your agreement to the terms set out above by completing the booking form.  Once I receive your booking form I can provide you with confirmation of time and date as discussed with you along with your invoice for the booking fee.
