Fun filled is one way to describe Candice and Lee’s absolutely mega festival themed wedding with a humanist ceremony (during a mega heatwave) at Berryfields Farm and Events. It was SUCH a hot day - literally everyone wanted to get in the lake (some folk may have even got very naked). 10 years together and totally utterly in love, plus Candice rocked that two piece trouser number WOWZER. DIY to the max and it was so full of colour - wildflowers and a favourite of mine, wedding favours in the form of boozy shots. Seriously though, the cake even took a topple it was so hot, it was made of cheese on the hottest day ever so it was inevitable really.

“Kate - we got so carried away with the photos we forgot to thank you. They are so amazing and we could have not asked for any better! On top of that you were more than a pleasure to be there on the day and so we are really really grateful. 100% you have helped us remember our day forever!”

Their festival inspired wedding took place the middle of a field with a tipi to take shelter, yurts for guests to camp in all weekend, Berryfields Farm was the perfect place for what they had planned for their super fun day. The outdoor humanist ceremony overlooking the lake was conducted by the ever so lovely and quite franly bonkers Katie Matthews Humanist Ceremonies, with pug ring bearers (I love weddings with dogs), 11 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen, all the cake, cocktails a-go-go, and a mega New Orleans inspired band King Brasstards who played anything from Peaky Blinders to the Lion King and a bit of Ska music thrown in for good measure. It really did feel like a festival, it was so chilled out with lots of lounging about enjoying the sunshine as well as some serious dance moves later on. Everyone was having a blast and it was so wonderfully fun and relaxed in equal measure. I only wish I got to stay all weekend with them, the following day with an ice cream van, circus acts and a heap load of fun things going on sounded mega.

Their festival wedding was featured in February’s issue of Confetti magazine which was pretty cool!
